So, this game I did the graphics for just went live online! Check it out! I got this job in large part because of my 8-bit Tarot project. The game's a total homage to the old C=64 version of Oregon Trail. I had a lot of fun getting into the SUPER-retro pixel art mindset, especially for the scenic vistas and cityscapes.
Continuing on my obsession of all things esoteric, I gathered some friends to play-test my new game Curio last night. It went pretty well, and was the first time I've played it with more than two players. Two major flaws were revealed, namely that it takes too long for anyone to start making progress in the game, and one card designed to cripple a player does its job a little too well. A couple simple tweaks to the rules, and I should have a playable beta test up fairly soon. It'll be available via a downloadable pdf on my Games page.
